2016/09/01 - In its latest market report, the International Olive Council (IOC) has analyzed the evolution of imports of olive oil by the United States in the past 20 years regarding the most consumed oil category and the type of packaging. According to this report, the US has gone from importing 84% in containers of less than 18 kg. in 1995/96 to 57.6% in 2015/16, so during this period bottled containers lost 28.4 points and bulk containers went from 16% to 42.4%.
