EVOOLEUM Packaging Awards opens an extraordinary call to choose the World's most beautiful EVOOs

2019/21/03 - For the first time since the EVOOLEUM Awards -the International Awards for the Quality of EVOO- have been held, the organizers of this competition -AEMO and Mercacei Publishing Group- open an extraordinary call to participate in the EVOOLEUM Packaging Awards. Although all the EVOOs registered in the EVOOLEUM Awards 2019 already participate automatically in this packaging contest, this second call -whose deadline for registration and receipt of samples ends on April 26- is an opportunity for all those producers who wish to register only in this section. Do you have the most beautiful EVOO packaging in the world? This is your contest.

In addition to recognizing the 100 best Extra Virgin Olive Oils on the planet, the EVOOLEUM International Contest Awards does not remain oblivious to a reality that has undergone a real creative revolution over recent years: the reality of packaging, or, on the same lines, the presentation and careful design of the packaging that contains this liquid gold. Thus the Prizes for Best EVOO Packaging -a complete novelty in a contest of these characteristics- recognize the best designs in the categories of Best EVOO Premium Design, Best Innovative Design and Best Design in Retail.

Due to the high demand, from producers around the world, to create a special section for this contest, the organizers of EVOOLEUM have decided to open an extraordinary call for the EVOOLEUM Packaging Awards. "Many producers wanted to participate in this category, but they could not do it due to some of the requirements of the EVOOLEUM rules, such as the minimum volume of production, for example," said Juan A. Peñamil, director of the EVOOLEUM Guide, who emphasized that with this action "we intend to help all the producers who invest in their brand image and take care of their product to promote it all over the world".

A Unique Jury
The Jury of the EVOOLEUM Packaging Awards -elected especially for these prizes- is composed of leading personalities of the world of fashion, design and communication.

The Spanish photographer with the greatest worldwide projection and National Photography Prize, Isabel Muñoz; the famous fashion designer Ángel Schlesser; the chef and restaurateur Javier Bonet, creator of reference spaces in Madrid as Sala de Despiece; style director and fashion communicator, Ana López de Letona; blogger and journalist Teresa de la Cierva, member of the Real Academia de Gastronomía (Royal Academy of Gastronomy); businesswoman and influencer, Cayetana Vela, creator of LuxuryComm, the first digital communications company specializing in luxury brands in Spain, and the blog Miss & Chic; and the renowned gallerist Blanca Berlín make up a jury with an openly multidisciplinary character and recognized prestige in each of their areas of expertise, with talent and creativity as the common denominator.

A Highlighted Section in the Guide

As the EVOO TOP100 brings together the 100 best extra virgin olive oils in the world, all the EVOOs awarded in the Packaging EVOOLEUM Awards will appear in the 2020 edition of the EVOOLEUM World's TOP 100 Extra Virgin Olive Oils Guide -published in Spanish and English printed and with its own app- through a complete descriptive and informative sheet of each of the awarded juices next t an image of the container.

It is a unique Guide in the world in its category, of which 10,000 copies are printed and distributed to the entire gourmet segment, as well as to international importers. Likewise, Mercacei distributes this Guide, with its own booth, in all the great gastronomic fairs of the main capitals.
