Keys to national and international marketing in the olive oil sector." The registration period ends on June 23rd and the application for a grant of the course will be open until June 1st.
2015/05/27 - ICEX Spain Export and Investment has published a detailed analysis of the olive oil market in Slovakia in which places Spain as leader of the Slovak market, closely followed by Italy and far away from Germany and France. The report also highlights that most of the olive juice consumed in the country is virgin.
2015/05/26 - The National Consumers League (NCL) has released the testing results of national brands of extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) products, finding that – of 11 products sampled – six failed to meet EVOO standards when evaluated by a highly accredited Australian lab.
2015/05/25 - From 26 to 28 May 2015 in the Banamex Centre, Mexico City, Alimentaria México will be the main agri-food platform in the country, with the presence of diverse international operators from the food industry. The show, now the most cosmopolitan in Mexico due to 70% of its exhibition range coming from the international sphere, will feature the participation of over 200 exhibiting companies from a score of countries, including Argentina, China, Korea, Italy, Brazil, the USA, Portugal, Indonesia, Chile, Taiwan, Greece, Peru, Poland, Turkey and Spain.
2015/05/22 - The president of Andalusian Institute of Agricultural and Fisheries Research (Ifapa), Carmen Ortiz, announced yesterday that the Council of Agriculture and Fisheries of Andalucia is currently immersed in the creation of a worldwide collection of extra virgin olive oils from unusual different varieties of olives, preserved in the World Olive Germplasm Bank located in the Ifapa facilities of Alameda del Obispo (Cordoba).
2015/05/21 - The screening of the documentary on the production of olive oil in Spain -directed by Zev Robinson and produced by Albertina Torres- gathered yesterday in London, at the Copa de Cava restaurant, numerous Spanish producers in an event that, according to its organizers, "was a success and defined the first step to introduce the Spanish brand in the UK market."
