Sfax (Tunisia) will host from January 26 to 30 the second edition of the Oil Festival with experts and researchers from around the world

2018/03/01 - A representation of international experts, together with delegations from different olive oil institutions from around the world, will analyze the reality of the olive oil sector in Sfax (Tunisia) between January 26th and 30th.
This forum, in which the participation of Mercacei is planned, will also celebrate various cultural, scientific and tourist activities related to the olive and oil sector.

Specifically, as reported by the organization, on January 29 there will be a conference with professionals and researchers from Tunisia, Spain, Italy, Denmark and the United States in which will deepen on various aspects to boost exports of Tunisian olive oil .

In addition, professionals of the main government departments of the sector in Tunisia will be represented.

The organization of the forum ensures that this second edition will concentrate on maintaining the sector's interest in international markets and boosting its exports, as well as analyzing the importance of commercial strategies and creative marketing.

Marketing, according to the organization, is one of the key points on which the forum will focus in this edition, especially in the new sectoral trends and in the most innovative aspects related to olive oil. All this, with the aim of enhancing and promoting local olive oil and improving the international position of this product.

In the preliminary program of the conference, there are experts from Spain, Argentina and Brazil with representatives of the IOC, the Tunisian Ministry of Commerce and the University of Denmark and researchers in the field of nutrition, digital commerce and different areas of oil production, among others.
